Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including education. Arabic language learning, as a branch of science that is important for the development of Islamic insight and global communication, is required to adapt to the development of digital technology to remain relevant to the needs of today's generation. This study aims to analyze innovations in digital technology-based Arabic language learning methods and identify the challenges and opportunities that arise in their implementation in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach, which examines literature related to educational technology, pedagogical innovation, and contemporary Arabic language learning practices. The results of the study indicate that the use of digital media such as interactive learning applications, Learning Management System (LMS) platforms, social media, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technology can increase learning effectiveness, facilitate access to learning resources, and strengthen student motivation. In addition, gamification strategies, mobile learning, and the use of interactive multimedia have been proven to support listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Arabic in a more contextual and engaging manner. However, challenges include limited digital infrastructure, technological literacy gaps, and the need to develop teachers' pedagogical competencies to optimally utilize technology. This study concludes that innovations in digital technology-based Arabic language learning are not merely a trend, but rather an urgent need to create adaptive, creative, and sustainable learning processes in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The implications of this study encourage educators and educational institutions to integrate digital technology into the curriculum and develop learning models that are relevant to current developments.
